In my spare time, I like to spent time with my family, play tennis, travel the world, ski and hang out with friends. Although my wife hates it, I like to fool around with new technologies, just because I think it's crucial to have hands-on experience with the technology that is deemed to be cool! If I would have to describe myself in a few words: product hacker, cx advocate, ux wannabe and life enjoyer!
I studied at one of the finest universities in Belgium, the University of Leuven. Maybe some who have attended a different university might disagree with me, it was definitely a fun city to study and live in.
I obtained two Master degrees. One in Applied Economics, with a focus on international economy and strategy... and one in Business Informatics, in which I learned the finesses of all operating systems out there, without actually seeing or touching any of them, but still a highly recommended study.
I started my career in '99 at Trisoft. During that time, I worked all around the world with global organizations and integrated Trisoft’s Component Content Management solution into their tool chain and processes.
In my professional life, I'm Head of Product for Tridion, with teams in Belgium, The Netherlands and Ukraine. I carry the overall responsibility for product development and getting the overall content management experience to the next level. I'm with RWS for about 2 years now.
I worked with some of the largest organizations in the world. To name a few: Amazon, Autodesk, Disney, Dell, Intel, HP, Tesla, VMware, Wells Fargo, and many more.
